Twist on Boxed Brownie Mixes
As a busy mom and grandma, I don't always have time to bake
from scratch. When I press the time, I will find a box of brownies. Yes, I
think that when you start from scratch, they taste better, but sometimes it is
not feasible to spend 2 hours baking.
When I use a boxed mixture, I usually add something to make
it better. In our home, the more things I can load the batter, the better.
Before you start, I want to share some important tips with
you.
1. Do not over-mix the batter. Some small bumps are normal.
2. Do not overbake. Remove the pan from the oven at the
recommended time. They will finish baking in the pot.
Let them cool and cut into squares. Store the squares in a
closed container.
